Description: For sale I have a 2001 40 HP Yamaha long shaft motor (20"). The motor runs well and has good compression on all cylinders within specs (200 psi). It has power trim. This was a dealer trade in that I ran for a while on the muffs before posting for sale. It sounds great, it idles and shifts well. It pumps water as it should, and the power trim works well. The carbs were just cleaned. Could use new paint and decals on the hood. The model tag is partially missing and I'm not 100% sure it's a 2001 but I believe it's a 2001-2003.
