Description: 2 Wonderful Vintage 1980s Clothtique SANTA CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS Click images to enlarge Description 2 VINTAGE CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS Wonderful set of two vintage Clothtique Santa Claus ornaments, each measuring about 5-1/2" tall. Featuring a Kris Kringle sporting a red coat and cap with fabric trim, composition trousers are blue, tucked into black boots. Holding a tiny bottle brush tree in one hand, he carries a sack over one should filled with little painted wood packages. Complete with fabric belt and large gold buckle. The other is a Belsnickle style Santa sporting a long red coat and cap with fabric trim, composition trousers are blue, tucked into black boots. Holding a sack filled with presents in one hand, he is complete with gold fabric belt, and gold hanging cord. Both are hand painted with fine detail - fabric has been stiffened and feels similar to oil cloth. Bearing the original MADE IN TAIWAN REPUBLIC OF CHINA labels on their foot base, they are complete with gold cord for hanging. I purchased these in the early to mid-1980s and have displayed them for years on our "country Christmas" tree. Distressed to mimic age, condition is very nice with no damage other than light age related display wear. Just a charming pair of Kringles - perfect addition to any Christmas tree or holiday display!
