Description: 19th Century German Gnome and Horse Hoof Clock Stand, Gilt Bronze. Unusual desk clock holder featuring gilded bronze gnomes to hold up the clock. Doves on top and a real taxidermy horse hoof base. 10” tall it comes as found with a period Junghans alarm clock which needs repair. Gilding is almost gone, you find traces of it. Gnomes appear to be holding up the clock. Horse hoof has nickel silver shoe. It’s a very weird unusual thing. All original patina. Please email any questions prior to bidding.
