Description: THE BASS PALACECHRISTMAS SALE THRU 12/26W/FREE USA SHIPPING! $400 OFF! Here's another beauty from the Westerly, RI plant. Finished in rare electric blue and it's got a lot of eye appeal. There are a few edge chips and dings but the color has is very vibrant with no signs of aging. More importantly, it has a clean maple neck with 22-fret rosewood fretboard and very, very little fret wear. Black Schaller tuners and a bone nut. It's a 34" scale with the string width set at 18mm at the bridge. That's about as wide as it gets but the Schaller roller bridge allows you to take it all the way down to 16mm if you desire. Width at the nut is just over 1 7/8". This is an active model with factory-equipped EMG Jazz style pickups and volume/volume/tone controls. For my money I have called these a "poor man's Sadowsky" with good reason. These early EMG pickups have a pure tone and they are very quiet. The bass is quite light at 8 3/4 lbs and has perfect balance. No finish marks or checking other than the small chips shown in the pics. This one comes in a nice molded Washburn hard case. FREE USA SHIPPING and a 30-day return privilege if you are not happy. The Bass Palace is combing through about 150 basses to choose some nice ones to list before 2024. You would be wise to check back often to see what goodies appear and also to take advantage of possible sales!
