The map opens to 10" x 18½" and covers the central part of the city, between Rosslyn and Capitol Hill. It locates hotels, government offices, parks, and other points of interest. It shows routes and entrances for the Blue, Orange, and Red Metrorail Lines, as well as the Yellow Metrorail Line, scheduled to open in 1983. It also show bicycle paths and the routes and stops of the Tourmobile, a sightseeing company that operated from 1969 to 2011. The map was drawn by John G. Weber and is copyrighted © 1982 by the National Geographic Society. It was issued as a supplement to the January 1983 issue of National Geographic. Condition: This map is in excellent condition, bright and clean, with no marks, rips, or tears. It folds to 10" x 8½". Please see the scans and feel free to ask any questions.
