My Notes: Fresh to market from a California estate. Both signed and dated in pencil lower right. Both have the San Francisco based photographer's stamp to rear. Information including title filled in with pencil. I do not find any information for Leonard Nelson as a professional photographer. As such, I am calling these prints high quality amateur work. The images are well focused, good exposure. Subject is interesting. Climbers both in the foreground and on the cables above. Ansel Adams set the standard for Yosemite photography, and Mr. Nelson has executed an Adams style photograph very well. Rich contrast from the shadow on the face of the mountain, to the highlights of the foreground granite. Mats show sunning at edges.
