Description: You're looking at a VINTAGE 1970's VERY RARE -MEXICAN HARD PLASTIC DOLL BANK -VINILOS ROMAY-AHORRO BANCOMER, made at Mexico by Vinilos Romay for Bancomer, which was a Mexican Bank, actually is BBVA Bancomer. This plastic banks were made to promote the savings in the children and youth. The doll shows signs of wear it has scratches, some stains, dust and paint chips all over it. It feels sticky although I cleaned her, that´s due to a varnish coat they used to put in the figures to protect them. She's all complete and comes with the plastic lid at the bottom base. At the back part of her hat you can see the words Vinilos Romay S.A. patent pending, and at the bottom back part of her dress the logo and words Ahorro Bancomer (Bancomer Savings). She measures 9 1/2" tall approx. I found her at a Mexican Toy Flea Market at Mexico City.
