Description: Here is a 1964 Ideal Toys MONSTER LAB Hard Plastic Battery Operated Motorized Playset in the original box. Box measures 29.5 inches in length, 11.5 inches in width and 6.5 inches height (may cause a surcharge in shipping price due to dimensions), box has side flaps, and has come unglued at seam, previously taped by original owner and now tape has come unstuck. This can be professionally repaired with some glue. Box graphics are pretty clean and bright with the Magilla Gorilla TV series ad line, there's some tape and tape stains on covers and top/bottom panels, scuffs with light color loss, 5 inch water stain at top edge of 1 cover side near the monster which does show through to inside of box, one of the 29.5 bottom/top panels has 2.5 x 5 inch stain/discoloration at edge. The hard plastic base and backdrop are pretty clean, no cracks or chips in the plastic, decals are bright, colorful with no peeling, bottom has the original cardboard cover. Tested and not working. I don't want to damage the original cardboard base by removing to see if I can fix; that will left to new owner, on the panel piece there's one knob at way left with small paint loss, bottom of base has no corrosion on battery ports, discoloration on bar, and appears there's a small tear in cardboard at peg, top has couple small stains on purple plastic floor, knobs at both ends are tight & turn as supposed to. The hard plastic 12 inch monster has metal post for the piece to fit into base, light discoloration to metal post, monster bright & clean with no paint loss, no cracks or chips or defects, includes plastic mask to cover the cool green creature face, arms swing freely and are firmly attached.
