Description: 1962 Vintage Midge Fashion Queen Barbie Doll #870 MCM Toy MCM Doll in Retro Bathing Suit and 2 wigs. Midge has blue eyes, heavy eyeliner, brown eyebrows and darker brown painted on hair. She comes with a Blonde Wig & an auburn wig. She is wearing a strapless white and striped gold lamé zipper bathing suit (some of the hem on one leg has come undone (see pics), zipper works. She was the first to be introduced with a molded painted head, making changing wigs easier. The markings on her bottom read; 12 on the left cheek and Midge Barbie R 1962 by Mattel Inc Patented (not 100% sure on stamp cause my eyes are bad). The arm pit area of her left arm is stamped 380 SN (my eyes are bad so this could be wrong) and the right armpit area stamped 201 WN (hard to tell for sure if it’s WN or WW). Some of her painted hair appears to have come off but not much of it see pics. This belonged to my mother in the 60’s.
