Description: "MR. COOL" HAND PUPPET – (c) 1962 NDCP (National Dairy Products Corp.). 2.5" x 4". Painted soft vinyl. We offer a scarce advertising toy promoting Sealtest Ice Cream. "Mr. Cool" was a short-lived walrus character used as a mascot for Sealtest in the 1960's. The Mr. Cool hand puppet was a 1962 mail premium, offered for 50¢ and 2 ice cream wrappers. NOTE: We are offering the puppet head only (fabric body sock is not included). That being said, we consider this a very displayable example in and of itself. An uncommon promotional toy with great eye appeal. Condition is considered GOOD with minimal surface/stain wear. No vinyl splits, tears or separations. Colors & imagery are still bold, bright and attractive. Overall, we feel this uncommon puppet toy is in very displayable condition by most standards (see photos).
