Description: Offered is this 1952 "Presidential Election Atlas" color booklet, featuring 39 maps showing all of the electoral votes by state and parties for every Presidential election from 1796 through 1948. The cover depicts the four men running for President and Vice President that year: Eisenhower and Nixon vs. Stevenson and Sparkman. There are brief biographies of each man, a chart of how many electoral votes each state had at the time (some are quite a contrast to today!) as well as a blank map to be used to color in the electoral votes for each candidate on election night. No publication information is given so I don't know who produced it. This is a rare, maybe unique find; at the time of original listing I could not find another copy for sale on eBay. The booklet is approx. 10 1/4" x 7" and contains eight pages, including the cover. It is in very good condition, with no tears or holes, although there are a few creased corners. The pages are well-attached to the staples. The colors remain fairly bright, but there is some yellowing of the paper and some light soiling and spotting. Please take a moment to look at the other items in my eBay store!
