A note on the back states the Deer were killed on December 1, 1947 at Cow Creek near Ridgway, Colorado at 9:30 AM. Both Deer have 4 points on each side of the horns. The 10 x 8 inch photo shows one Hunter holding his rifle. The car has a 1947 Colorado license plate and the top of the photo is dated 1947. The back of the photo has a note in ink and the photographers ink stamp. The note states “KILLED ON COW CREEK NEAR RIDWAY COLO.,DEC. 1, 47, 9:30 A.M., S.A. CARTER” The 10 x 8 inch photo has some black paper probably from a photo album page. Otherwise the photo is in nice condition with no tears or creases.
