This blanket was an estate find and the owner bought it in 1946 in Mexico while she was there studying Spanish. This blanket is very large measuring 63x93 inches. This beautiful blanket features shades of purple, black, cream, and gray. Its intricate design and craftsmanship make it a unique addition to any collection of Latin American cultural artifacts.This textile has been well-preserved over the years, but does show a couple of areas of wear . This blanket is 78 years old. Please see pictures where it is noted but I think this is an easy fix. I have had Blanket dry cleaned and other than areas mentioned it is in excellent condition otherwise. It would make a beautiful decorative piece for a home or office, or it could be used as a functional blanket, Wall hanging or rug.
