Description: Vintage 1941 Mitchell Lumitone 1260 lamp radio, restored, working radio. The Mitchell Lumitone lamp radio is prized by collectors for its futuristic rocket shaped body. Built in 1941, it belongs to a small fraternity of radios shaped like lamps. New caps, feets, line cord, speaker rebuild, bakelite chassis mountings and light socket fixed and new gold paint for the base, original body paint with period lamshade and finial, On/Off/Volume knob slightly damaged.
