Description: 1927 Vintage Press Photo by INTERNATIONAL NEWS.Photo shows Albert Snyder, art editor for a prominent magazine, who was found slain at his home in Quens Village, New York. A strand of picture wire was drawn tightly around his neck. Mrs. Snyder had been bound and gagged and left unconscious by the murderers. May Ruth Snyder was an American murderer. Her execution in the electric chair at New York's Sing Sing Prison in 1928 for the murder of her husband, Albert Snyder, was recorded in a highly publicized photograph.
