Breeding foxes for their furs is a leading industry of Prince Edward Island. Photo shows: Miss Lucille Gervaise, a Montreal society girl who has taken up fox breeding holding "Rosebank Pasha", an eight months old silver fox, worth more than a thousand dollars, about her neck. Pasha's mother died when he was a day old and a common tabby cat became foster mother to the valuable kit. The young foxes are easily domesticated if born in captivity and will follow their master bout the house as would a dog. Photo measures 7 x 9 inches. Photo Is dated 1921.
