1920 letter SIGNED by Guy H. Hunt, president of a Boston lime & plaster company

Description: This is a signed letter from the Edward Bryant Company, which was located in Boston, Massachusetts. The typed letter is two pages long, and is dated September 27, 1920. The first page is typed on a sheet of the company's stationery, which states that they deal in "Lime, Plaster, and Plastering Hair." The letter was written and signed by Guy H. Hunt, the president and treasurer of the company. Mr. Hunt attended Cornell University, graduating in 1908, and went on to work for several companies in various engineering related jobs before becoming president of this company. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find much more information about this man. His name is printed at the top left corner, where he is identified as being both the president and treasurer. He is also identified at the top right corner as being one of the directors of the company. The letter is addressed to railroad agent W. K. Sanderson of the Maine Central Railroad. This is William Kennedy Sanderson (1863-1939?), who began his career as a telegraph operator. Later he worked for various railroads before joining the Maine Central. Sanderson was also a director of the New England Traffic Association and of the American Association of Freight Traffic Officers. He was a member of the Executive Committee of the Maine chapter of the YMCA, a member of the board of directors of the Maine Central Railroad and the Boston & Maine Railroad Association. Sanderson was also a member of the Portland Country Club, the Society of Colonial Wars, and president of the Maine Society of the Sons of the American Revolution. The letter is in good/very good condition, with moderate wear. Shipping is FREE via USPS First Class Mail. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
