1911 IN MEMORIAM CARD - ALEXANDER McCLURE OF YOKER, GLASGOW

Description: This is an "In Memoriam" card for an Alexander McClure aged 26 years who died on 26th April 1911. Alexander was the husband of Lizzie K. Colquhoun and lived at 12, Rossdhu Place, Yoker. He was interred in Arkleston Cemetery. The item measures 7.5cm x 11.6cm and opens out to double the width. Interesting item for a local history collection or for family research. The item is in an acceptable condition. General edge, spine end and corner rubs, tiny bit of uneveness in the folding, light creases at bottom front corner, tiny creases at top front and bottom rear corners, small, light crease at top rear corner, rubbing and grubbiness along spine, tiny nick at top of spine, repaired 1.5cm split at bottom of spine, light crease at top of spine, some small horizontal creases at front and rear of spine, small brown mark at top edge, light crease at top front edge, some waviness to card with a light crease to bottom part of card - no signs of dampness, some light grubbiness to borders with some tiny marks, small, light crease at top rear edge, small rub to rear panel, light grubbiness and some marks and a small brown mark to rear panel, some light grubbiness and some tiny marks to inside of item, the odd tiny bump and tiny surface paper chip to edges.
