Description: It was hard to date these machine sewn bloomers or pantaloons due to the elastic waistband. It could very well be that the elastic is a replacement for a drawstring. Elastic waists aren't commonly seen in clothing until the late 1930s so these bloomers have either had a replacement in the casing or were made in the 30s from vintage fabrics/laces.
