People named in the agreement are: · Herbert Taylor of 61 Mark Lane in the City of London, Esquire. · Thomas Charles Perceval Lefroy of No 7 Park Gate South in the County of Middlesex, Esquire. Relates to the Lease of a Dwelling house on the south side of Stanhope Gardens in the Parish of St Mary Abbott, Kensington in the County of Middlesex - the 24rd house numbering westwards from Queens Gate and now known as No 41 Stanhope Gardens. Includes the “privileges of walking in the piece of ground in the centre of Stanhope Gardens aforesaid which has been railed in and formed into an ornamental garden or pleasure ground.” The lease is for 21 years. The yearly rent is £220. CONDITION. Contents complete. No holes or tears. Slight darkening and creasing to vellum in places but good condition overall. Handwriting clear and easy to read.
