18" American Girl Doll Early Pleasant Company Molly Brown Braids Gray Eyes TLC

Description: 18" American Girl Molly McIntire Doll. From the early 1990's, most likely 1993 based on the collection she came with. She's a Pleasant Company doll, with soft, squishy vinyl and a very huggable cloth body, all original. Pretty pink face coloring, and beautiful long curled brown eyelashes. She has the sweetest expression on her face! Molly was played with gently, but has been stored away for many years, and has some damage from poor storage. Her hair hasn't been cut, but is somewhat dry. It can still be brushed and braided, and her bangs are in pretty good shape, but her braids feel a bit "stiff" and the ends are especially dry. She has pretty gray eyes, no silvering or damage there, with long, full curly eyelashes. She does have a purplish dye transfer mark on her cheek from her dickie collar lying against it for many years. Somehow, one of Molly's legs has become deformed from storage. As you can see in the pictures, it's been "squished" and appears thinner than the other one, with 4 tiny dents in the front, and some marks on the back as well. No chew marks or cuts in the vinyl, just those little dents. I've heard that you can sometimes re-shape dolls like that by heating them with a blow dryer or pouring boiling water inside (you'd need to disassemble her first!), but if you decide to do that, please look up tutorials and proceed at your own risk! I didn't attempt to fix it in any way. You could probably also send her to the doll hospital. I noticed some kind of shine marks on her wrist and hand, may have additional shine/smudge marks on her vinyl from play/storage. She has slightly loose limbs, but can still hold a pose or stand unassisted. Long, uncut neck strings. Her eyes open and close as they should. No clothes included.
