Description: I need to clear some space on my shelves, so I need to part with some of my collection. THIS IS MY LAST ONE! Back in 2010, AFV Club made a Limited Edition run of 5000 kits of their brand-new T-34/76 tank using clear hull and turret parts to show off the full interior packed into the kit. They threw in extras to boot, like PE parts and a turned aluminum barrel with rifling! I found eight listings for this kit on eBay (in various conditions), but as a Top Rated Plus US Seller, I have this in stock and can reliably ship this to you very quickly. Here is some of the information that I have found online about this loaded kit: The AFV Club website (hobbyfan.com.tw) still has a page for this kit, showing the box art and a wonderfully finished model. While they no longer offer it for sale, they do list the following impressive features of the kit: · Clear turret and upper hull parts.· Precisely replicates engine and engine housing.· Highly detailed transmission system.· Driving and fighting compartments were accurately recreated.· Metal gun barrel with rifling.· Precision photo-etched parts are included.· Clear parts for all periscope vision blocks.· Realistic Suspension System with Metal Coil Springs. Scalemates.com shows that this is a 2010 release based on a new tooling from 2009. There is a link to download the complete 16-page instruction set and many links to reviews, aftermarket parts, references and galleries to get the details right. The renowned Cookie Sewell did a thorough First Look Review on the cybermodeler.com site, providing his expert insights and evaluations. He goes through the major assemblies and points out the good and the bad. He lists the “Pros” as: “Complete interior with clear styrene parts to show it off; neatly done details with very nicely broken down parts” Andreas Eichendorff did a First Look Review on the German-language ipmsdeutschland.de site. He gives us very large pictures of each sprue, the metal parts, decals, PE fret, tracks, upper and lower hull parts and some of the instruction set. He is clearly a huge fan of this kit, saying: “For me, AFV Club's T-34 series is one of the best in its class. The complete interior design alone is the absolute novelty in plastic model making. The fully movable and spring-loaded swing arms are also a highlight.” Gino Quintiliani gives us a very detailed In-Box Review on the armorama.com site that goes into the history of the T-34 and shows close up shots of the sprues, parts and a page of the instructions. He provides extensive comments about the interior detailing and his favorable Conclusion includes: “Overall the kit looks very nice and I highly recommend it. The interior and exterior parts look to be very nicely detailed, finely molded, and free of flash. Assembly looks straight-forward and with no noted problem areas. The complete interior is a big plus in this kit, and the clear parts, while somewhat of a gimmick, do allow all the details to be seen.” This kit is in a photo-laden 15” x 9.5” x 2” box. As you can see from the pictures, the box is still sealed with four tape strips, so it is factory sealed and absolutely gift-ready. This item contains one complete injection molded plastic model kit of this iconic Russian Tank with over 430 grey, 11 clear and 10 black plastic parts, 10 steel springs, a fret of brass photo etched metal parts, vinyl tracks and a set of decals, along with a turned aluminum barrel! It requires cement and paint to complete as shown. I use eBay Managed Payments, but I no longer ship internationally. Auction winner pays the winning bid, and for a limited time, I am offering this exciting and unique kit with $9 Flat Rate Shipping in the US! No reserve and a low starting bid. Check out my other great auctions and listings for combined shipping. Good luck! Those familiar with my listings can tell that I really enjoy these products and the modeling hobby. I like to provide more than just the bare facts about the items, trying to lead you into discovering more about the subjects and optimizing your builds (if that is your goal). I started out picking up models that I was interested in, with the eye toward building them when I had time. Always a bargain-hunter, I accumulated many more than I can build, so I found myself in a Collector status (sounds nicer than a hoarder). As I am sure you have noticed, my items are almost always sealed and in mint condition (I call them Gift-Ready), since I only open them when I am ready to build them. Now I enjoy making these products available to my fellow modelers; both Builders and Collectors. For the Builders, there are probably better (at least cheaper) ways to add to your project lists than buying from me, but you know you are getting top quality. For Collectors, my goal is to save you a few bucks over the competition for the same item in factory sealed and collectible (or resellable) condition.
