I was told that these bands were purchased from the bander at SWAN LAKE, MO National Wildlife Refuge in Sumner, MO. This is one of the first Call 1-800 style BIRD BANDS that were commonly starting in the mid 90'S. These are New Old Stock and were never placed on a goose. 1557 prefix.
